TUTORING
Starting soon, the Sparkle Initiative will be offering Saturday tutoring sessions for those that feel a little extra person-to-person support could lead to big things in their education and their lives. Knowing that we want these sessions to ignite big sparks in those that attend, we have based their structure on four pillars of service.​​​
CREDIBILITY: All minds are in good hands - Sparkle Tutoring sessions will be lead by Education professionals volunteering their time, and/or dedicated College Interns, under the supervision of a Master's Level School Social Worker or above. Our Team is learning-forward, well-versed in modalities, and has myriad resources at the ready to support education.
CREATIVITY: By the book, but also outside the box. Sparkle Initiative understands that each learner has unique needs, at a unique pace, with unique motivators. Our Team is able to recognize nuances between needs, and customize our 1-to-1 assistance based on our collectively compassionate experience.
COMPREHENSIVENESS: Sparkle Initiative is able to provide in-depth Tutoring that covers a wide variety and deep breadth of subjects. Whether it be Math, Reading, Writing, Science, or modern areas of study, we are able to welcome all levels of learners - early education through collegiate or continued level - let the meeting of the minds begin!
COMPASSION: The space, supplies and sensational staffing are 100% made possible on a donation-only basis. At Sparkle Initiative, all of our Donors and Volunteers have the shared understanding that every learner deserves not just to stay afloat, but to be buoyed towards success.
